These yarns have been created from rovings collected from other independent dye artists as well as the dyepots at Mid Valley
Fibers. Each has been created by hand on either the Majacraft Rose spinning wheel or my trusty Lendrum. These
unique yarns cannot be duplicated so be sure to grab them while they're available. P.S. Special orders can
be taken. Just contact us and let us know what you desire.

Always in search of the perfect little bag for your knitting projects? Well, we have it here. The clear sides
of our bags make it easy to see what's inside to grab your project for on-the-go knitting. No more fumbling to open
your little project bags to find out what's inside before you dash out the door with knitting or crochet in hand. The
bags feature a zipper top closure, expanding sides and a handle. Take out your project leaving the yarn inside, close
the zipper, slip the bag on your wrist and you're ready to knit and go! Ideal for: socks, scarves, little shawls,
hats, and other small projects. Doubles as a kit bag for your small travel items.
The Sugarloaf measures 6.5"
x 6.5" x 4". This bag holds your circular or double-pointed needles, yarn and the small accessories you need
for socks and such. The Catoctin is 10.5" x 6" x 4 and is well-suited for your straight scarf needles along
with those projects on your circulars. Both bags have heavyweight sides of tapestry or other decorator fabrics.
They sit flat or swing from your arm.
These bags were designed by a knitter with too many projects in the works at
one time and the need to find the perfect project for knitting at sports events, doctor's offices, car trips and knit group
meetups. You'll find they are very handy too!

Custom Handspinning Service
|
Are you a fiber producer? Do have have raw fleeces -- wool, alpaca or mohair? Do you have a closet, room
or barn full of fiber that you need to turn into yarn? We can help. Custom handspinning is available
here at Mid Valley Fibers. Linda can skirt, handwash, pick, card and handspin your fiber into gold -- actually
yarn.
Contact us to discuss the details of our handspinning service. Prices will vary depending on the quality of the fleece and how
clean it is. We assume that wool will be in the grease and some vegetation will be present. We assume that alpaca will
have some vegetation to be removed and we are aware that alpacas love to dust themselves and the fleece will contain dust
and dirt. The amount of labor involved and therefore the price of preparation for spinning will be relative to the amount
of vegetation to be removed by hand. For an accurate estimate, please be aware that we will require a sample of the
fleece for evaluation.
