Cedar Wool Farm
Lesley has wonderful sheep and the wool -- you have to see her yarns, rovings and knits to really appreciate them.  She creates a wonderfully soft woolen yarn in sublte tones of the world around her farm.  Be sure to check up on Rodney while you're visiting Cedar Wool Farm.

Brookmere Alpacas
Beautiful alpaca farm in Frederick County, Maryland.  Sue Ann and Heinz Wilms have 45+ alpacas.  Interested in owning alpacas or handspinning their fiber?  Check out this site and give the Wilms a call for more information.

Plum Cottage Crafts
Circular sock knitting machines are featured here. Stephanie collects, repairs and sells sock machines. 

Dancing Leaf Farm
The yarns and knitting tools at Dancing Leaf Farm offer an explosion of color. Let Dalis dazzle you with her color combinations.  If you get a chance to visit, do so.  It's a terrific country fiber studio.

Kiparoo Farm
Annie Kelley and her four-footed wooly friends will provide you with all kinds of ideas for your fiber creation pleasures.  Take a drive in the country, travel Annie's long farm lane and  you'll find a terrific studio in a converted dairy barn.

KnitSpot
Great resource for handknitting patterns.  Wonderful lace designs.  Many of her patterns are suitable for handspun yarn.  Check out Anne's blog too -- lots of fun and many, many photos for knitting projects.

The Maryland Alpaca Breeders Association is a dedicated group of alpaca owners, breeders, and enthusiasts working together to provide educational and marketing opportuntities for residents of Maryland and surrounding areas.

All Alpaca Fiber Mill
Great place to turn your alpaca fiber into rovings, batts or yarn.  Located in Sistersville, WV, this mill is a family-run operation.  The brothers have turned their 20+ years of experience in the fiber mill industry to good use while Mom and Dad raise the alpacas.  An all-around operation.  They welcome visits, but do call ahead.

Blue Ridge Spinners and Weavers Guild
We have one rule (known to members as "THE rule".) To become a member of BRSWG: You have to Be Nice! You don't have to know anything about weaving, spinning or other fiber arts.....you just need to show up and hang out with a bunch of nice people that like to laugh and have fun!

Maryland Alpaca Breeders Association
The Maryland Alpaca Breeders Association is a dedicated group of alpaca owners, breeders, and enthusiasts working together to provide educational and marketing opportuntities for residents of Maryland and surrounding areas.

Mid Atlantic Alpaca Association (MAPACA)
The Mid-Atlantic Alpaca Association (MaPaca) is a cooperative group of alpaca breeders in the Mid-Atlantic states of Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia. Through the cooperative efforts of our members, we promote and support the alpaca community via networking, quarterly meetings, seminars, surveys, a newsletter, this web site, and various shows including the internationally acclaimed MaPaca Jubilee.

National Jousting Association
Dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the Sport of Jousting - Riding for the Rings, this group hosts two events a year:  the Hall of Fame Joust in June and the National Jousting Championships in October.  They also maintain the National Jousting Hall of Fame Museum located in the Park Offices at Natural Chimneys Regional Park, Mt. Solon, VA.

Maryland Jousting Tournament Association
Jousting is Maryland's officical State Sport.  This organization oversees the scheduling of events throughout the State of Maryland, uniform rules for the sport for events held within Maryland and represents the Maryland Clubs at the National Jousting Association.

Western Maryland Jousting Club
This is our local jousting club.  Members are located in Frederick and Washington Counties of Maryland.  We host several events each year.  See the Maryland Jousting Tournament Association website for more information and scheduled event dates.

The National Wild Turkey Federation
This organization is dedicated to the preservation of the Wild Turkey in North America.

Middletown Maryland
The beautiful Middletown Valley stretches from the Catoctin Mountains on the east to South Mountain on the west, between the Pennsylvania border to the north and the Potomac River and Virginia to the south. Middletown, being midway between the peaks of Braddock and South Mountains, shares her name with a number of other "Middletowns" in other states. By surfing the ‘net, you will quickly find links to Middletown in CA, CT, DE, IL, MA, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, and VA. But it will only take a short visit to show our uniqueness and charms -- of a place we townsfolk are proud to call "home!"
